For more than 30 years, Dr. Steven Glanz has been honing and refining his talents in his career in healthcare. He currently lives in Boyton Beach, Florida.
Presently in his career, Dr. Steven Glanz is a Dermatologist and Dermatopathologist with the Dermatology Center of Florida, where he’s been since 2017. In September 2021, he also became the Clinical Director of Adult and Pediatric Dermatology. In his work, Dr. Glanz provides strong expertise in guiding patients in their skincare while also working to improve their health by developing corrective procedures, methods, and controls.
Dr. Glanz’s professional experience began in 1979 when he enrolled at the University of Michigan. Four years later, he graduated with his Bachelor of Science Undergraduate and enrolled in the Ohio State College of Medicine in Columbus, where he earned his MD Medical Degree.
After graduation, Dr. Steven Glanz completed his Medical and Surgical Internships at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where he subsequently completed his Dermatology Residency. Dr. Glanz completed his Dermatology fellowship at the University of Florida College of Medicine and earned his Certificate of Healthcare Management from the University of Miami School of Business.
In 1992, Dr. Steven Glanz opened Boca Raton Dermatology Private Practice in Boca Raton, Florida. For eight years, he worked through the clinic to identify diseases and determine appropriate therapies for his patients. In 2000, he moved into a consultant role for a year before becoming a Dermatologist, Dermatopathologist, and Associate Medical and Lab Director at Advanced Dermatology in Delray, where he worked for 15 years, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of precancerous and cancerous skin lesions. He left when he moved into his current role.
Prior to his current work, Dr. Steven Glanz also served as a Dermatologist and Dermatology Network Director at Health Network One in Boca Raton for nearly 14 years, working with patients ranging in age from pediatric to adolescent, adult, and geriatric to prep charts, contribute to the development of care plans for the patient, implement said care plans, and monitor patient diagnosis and treatment progress among myriad other responsibilities.
Throughout his career, Dr. Steven Glanz has established multiple areas of professional expertise, including dermatology, managed care, general dermatology, dermatopathology, and dermatologist network management, as well as medical administration, patient education, and support, cross-cultural examination, electronic medical records, and HIPAA compliance.
